Moura West Upgrade

Moura West Upgrade project is part of WIRP Stage one.  The $30 million Project included upgrading approximately 6.6km of rail infrastructure from the end of the Moura Mine turnout to the proposed Cockatoo Coal Balloon Loop on the Moura Short Line.

Works included earthwork and drainage, track infrastructure, power systems, signals and telecommunications. The proposed Cockatoo Coal Baralaba Balloon Loop will be connected to the Moura Rail System adjacent to the Dawson Highway and approximately 3km from the Moura Township.
